Kohlenwasserstoffe
Kohlenwasserstoffe sind chemische Verbindungen des Kohlenstoffs mit Wasserstoff. Es gibt kettenförmige Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie z. B. Oktan, und ringförmige Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie z. B. Benzol. In der Umweltfrage sind ringförmige Kohlenwasserstoffe - besonders in chlorierter Form - in Diskussion.
