Unter Nitroverdünnungen sind Lösemittelgemische für Lacke zu verstehen. In der Regel bestehen Nitroverdünnungen aus aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen und Estern; sie sind entzündlich und teilweise gesundheitsschädlich.
